We are excited about the opportunity to work with you and glad you want to be part of a team of talented individuals who together can change the way the world communicates.Requisition ID: 50577 Equipment Engineering Tech 4A2 Shift: (Su/M/T- Su/M/T/S) 5:30 PM- 5:30 AMSkyworks is looking for seasoned Equipment technician to support our state-of-the artwafer fabmanufacturing equipmentwithrepairs,Preventive maintenance&troubleshootingin a designed area.Who you are:As an Equipment Engineering technician, you’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, production, etc. and will be monitoringtool performance, schedule and perform preventive maintenance on assigned toolsets and usemechanical, electronic and software skillsto troubleshoot equipment while operating under constant pressure inherent to a lean production facility. You will also be assisting withequipment installs, create and improve equipment procedures, increasetool uptimeusing problem solving and collaboration skills, thoroughly documenting all maintenance performed, tracking programs and reviewing maintenance procedures.Key Qualifications:
2 years of experience as an equipment maintenance.
Knowledge and understanding of basicelectro-mechanical theoryis a must have.
Technicalhands-on troubleshooting and repair experiencewith industrial scaleelectromechanical systems and subsystems.
HS Diploma is a must! An Associate Degree in Electronics Technology (or similar discipline) is highly desired.
Must have a strongmechanical aptitudewith excellent equipment troubleshooting abilities and the dexterity required to assemble a variety of complex parts to very close tolerances.
Must be able to work fromdetailed drawings,assembly diagrams, specifications and/or verbal instructions required to perform the job.
Must be VERYquality focusedand capable of working in afast-paced, high-volume environmentand able to find quick solutions to immediate problems.
Ability to work on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community
Basic knowledge ofsemiconductor manufacturing equipments.
Ability to move objects and service-related tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending squatting and kneeling are required to service and repair equipment
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
