Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Prepares groups for Underwriting review.Prepares financial settlements, including auditing reimbursements, reports and finding solutions.Reviews enrollment exception reports for financial risk.Prepare and run ad hoc reports as needed.Assist post-sale review for Underwriters.Qualifications Underwriter Specialist Qualifications
Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 1-3 years of experience in underwriting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
CPCU, CLU, LOMA, HIAA or other insurance related courses preferred.
Broad knowledge of benefits, contracts, and data sources required.
