Location: Remote Contract Length: 6+ months Job Description: Senior Solutions Automation Engineer-Quality (Location agnostic) We are seeking a talented, self-guided, life-long learner to join the Life Insurance Division based in Aliso Viejo, California. Our team delivers Quality Engineering solutions to our customer to help embed Quality practices into teams. As a team that is undergoing rapid change, we are seeking an individual contributor with leadership attributes, someone who can influence others to build Quality into technology solutions from the start, leveraging automation from the get-go and not as an afterthought. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Understand customer needs, desired business outcomes and recommends best approaches to Quality engineering • Translate customer needs and business outcomes into viable, recommended solutions that help build Quality into our technology solutions and products from inception • Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end system quality • Expertise in end-to-end Test strategy effort and collaborating with different teams • Create visibility around the test strategy, and communicates test progress to all the all stakeholders • Lead coordination with intersecting organizations as needed to test changes and dependencies • Lead QA practices by example (Shift Left, TDD, BDD, ATDD, Mob Programming, Value Stream Engineering, Zero Defect approaches, Build -in not Test-in, CI/CD)in, CI/CD) • Builds self-service QA automation solutions that help our application development teams execute testing early and often, as needed • Works hands on to enable testing automation and robust test data frameworks • Create visibility and deepen collaboration during development to ensure more reliable releases • Provides solutions for automated data flow and integration testing • Partners with application development to implement a full automated testing value chain from Unit, System, to System Integration levels FACTORS FOR SUCCESS • Knowledge of at least one programming language. • Minimum 5 years of experience in or equivalent educational qualifications • A living example of Focus, Commitment, Courage, Openness, Respect • Excellent communication, presentation and people interface • Embraces ambiguity as an opportunity to learn • Possess business savvy (experience with Story Mapping, Value Stream mapping) • Sees "QA" as a holistic enabling service provider, not a last stop gate • Promotes "big picture" thinking and continuously finds opportunities in the areas of E2E , Integration , Regression , Security testing and automated test data management. • Pioneers and helps teams adopt Quality Engineering solutions and best practices TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have • Knowledge of test automation tools and practices Test Automation , Regression Automation, Functional Automation, Test Data management, RobotFramework Test automation using Robot framework , JavaScript , Python Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
