SummaryIn this role, you will be providing management with the team responsible for the design, maintenance and administration of the organization's database servers. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Manage the team responsible for maintenance and administration of the organization's Development, QA, and Production database servers. Oversee complete database object creation, migration, data integrity, and data recovery projects of high complexity. Manage, architect and create database replication architecture, HA/DR, and implement database security. Act as a primary knowledge leader in the department, mentor employees, and take ownership in planning and execution of team and company projects and initiatives. Discover and implement processes to streamline business operations. Review plans and document all database management policies and standards. Oversee deployment of database object changes to the QA/Production environments. Proactively monitor all Production SQL Server servers and troubleshoot poor performance and high resource utilization situations. Available for 24x7 Production and team support. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 10+ years' experience with SQL Server in a high availability environment. 5+ years with IT management experience Extensive experience with SSIS and creating ETL processes. Advanced experience with performance monitoring, tuning and optimization. Advanced experience with indexes, index management, and analyzing execution plans. In depth experience with T-SQL database programming, SSRS, and SSAS. Experience with Cloud (Azure, AWS, etc) and non-relational databases is not required but preferred. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to multitask, manage and meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision. Ability to perform complex analysis and complete tasks successfully in a timely manner.

Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Previous working experience in a financial institution preferred.
