Our client in the Insurance industry is currently seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst II to join their team!

IT Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for the enterprise-wide management of digital technology assets (including but not limited to hardware, software, cloud, SaaS, etc.). This key role will require prior experience in Software Asset Management - SAM and Hardware Asset Management - HAM, along with the functions that support the software and hardware lifecycle.

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Hourly Rate: $62/hr. W2 (No C2C)

Location: Remote

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related Software and Hardware Asset Management experience with a bachelor's degree; or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Possess a solid understanding of IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience using industry-standard SAM solutions like Flexera, SNOW Software, Aspera, etc.
  • Solid working knowledge of ITSM system ServiceNow
  • An understanding of End Point Management and inventory toolsets such as SCCM, Intune, UEM, etc.
  • Advanced Excel
  • Moderate to Advanced experience using, Access, SQL, and similar tools.
  • Experience working in a Managed Services environment
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing a Software Asset Management Tool and SAM practice
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • ITIL v3 or four foundations certified preferred IAITAM certifications: Certified Software Asset Manager - CSAM, Certified IT Asset Manager preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing and generating reports (and their review) to communicate and monitor compliance, liability, and budgetary data for software and hardware assets.
  • Analyzing exception data to identify potential breaches of policy and their causes, investigating and reporting license compliance issues or shelfware and remediation options.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of asset data with large and complex excel sheets- follow up with data/asset owners, as necessary.
  • Managing the software support and maintenance renewal process to ensure that payments are justified
  • Data validation between all system of record systems and FelexeraOne ITAM tool
  • Monitoring changes to license terms and conditions (T&Cs)
  • Support vendor audit activities, including presenting audit result findings to executives.
  • Ensure the accurate collection, storage, and maintenance of data on all in-scope software installed in the asset repository.
  • Track software titles throughout their lifecycle
  • Timely and accurate reconciliation of lifecycle data relating to software and hardware assets and the asset tracking system.
  • Track software entitlement and maintenance data in support of refresh as well as the end of life processes and projects
  • Manage preparation and distribution of pre-defined and ad-hoc reports; identify and recommend hardware and software that has the potential to be harvested or replaced with lower-cost alternatives.
  • Identify and report on potential issues with an asset tracking tool, supporting systems, and inputs; develop and maintain related program and process documentation.
