Role: Junior Business Analyst - Media Location: NYC, NY or Los Angeles, CA or Jersey City, NJ or CO Duration: 12+ Months Junior Level BA - typical documentation/facilitation Media Experience Job Description Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate interviews with various business stakeholders, product and engineering teams to document current internal & external systems Document system architecture, user journeys and data flows spanning across financial, content, scheduling, rights, fulfillment and marketing systems Provide the product teams with a POV on possible recommended solutions to centralize systems based on information gathering efforts Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing business, functional and technical specifications Own presentations and reporting (project status, accomplishments, updates) and measure business-critical metrics and KPIs Collect data points/key metrics across the product portfolio and provide detailed analysis of trends involving reliability, scalability, usage, etc Prepare engaging and informative presentations to effectively communicate across all levels Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technical project teams in the definition and delivery of custom built, business critical systems Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with engineering, architecture and/or development teams Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical & critical thinking skills Strong documentation & organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in media technology or communication and 1-3 years of equivalent professional experience 1-2 years' work experience in project and/or technical account management Ability to translate technical requirements to a non-technical audience Passion for technology and systems process Desire to work in media and transform the future Previous experience with diagram software such as Lucidchart, Mural or Omnigraffle Thanks and Regards Aditya Technical Recruiter | VISION INFOTECH INC.| |Direct: |
