Visitfor more information.ResponsibilitiesCNA – ORTHOPEDICS ACUTENorthridge Hospital Medical CenterThe ORTHOPEDICS unit at Northridge Hospital Medical Center is actively seeking individuals who demonstrate patient care excellence. We are seeking a Nursing Assistant for ORTHOPEDICS to provide basic patient care in accordance with the patient’s individual needs, Hospital policy and standards of patient care .Requirements: High school education and current CPR certification required. Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA , successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program or related work experience, knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures. Current AHA BLS required.This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.QualificationsAt least one (1) year experience as a Nursing Assistant required. Acute care facility experience preferred. Formal Nursing Assistant training preferred. N/A. Current California Nursing Assistant certification preferred. Current AHA BLS card required.
