Position Overview:Novato Community Hospital is a 47-bed acute-care hospital located approximately 30 miles north of San Francisco. It is a part of the Sutter Health network of doctors, not-for-profit hospitals and other health care service providers sharing resources and expertise to advance health care quality and access in the more than 100 Northern California cities and communities.Under the direction of the Director of the Ancillary Services, and the supervision of the department manager, performs radiographic procedures on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ionizing radiation for a radiologic diagnosis. Is assigned responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. certification in Radiography and Fluoroscopy.Qualifications:Education:
Graduate of an approved school of RadiologicTechnology
Licensures and Certifications:
Certified Radiologic Technologist – CRT – upon hirerequired
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists –ARRT – upon required
Radiology Fluoroscopy – RHF – 90 days required
Basic Life Support – BLS – upon hired required
Experience:
One to three years: may be completed inaccredited radiologic technology program preferred
