DescriptionA local legal office is seeking a Bookkeeper to assist them with Trust Accounting, AP, and AR. This is potentially a long-term, full-time job opportunity with great benefits! If interested, apply today or contact Adrian.Gould@Accountemps.com.Duties:
Full disbursement processing of litigation settlements, including reimbursement of costs advanced, payment of fees, referral fees, liens and settlement proceeds to clients
Create spreadsheets different departments for completion of motions and Summary of Settlements for clients
Complete Cost Breakdowns, Cost Revisions, File Reviews and prepare a packet for our Medicare lien liaison
Process Accounts Payable and Receivables for the firm
Answer client questions regarding settlement disbursement and/or status of funds.
Follow-up with clients regarding uncashed checks.
