LI-DNPIn this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and deepening relationships with consumer and business customers by providing exceptional customer service and recommending appropriate customer solutions through use of the ACE model. This includes, but is not limited to, processing transactions, placing customers in appropriate account products, cross-selling other bank services and referring customers to other departments as appropriate.Functions

Accept and accurately process a variety of financial transactions for customers, including typical consumer and business transactions i.e., cashing checks and processing checking and savings account withdrawals and balancing duties, etc. while seeking opportunities to develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities; utilizing basic sales techniques to deepen existing customer/prospect relationships, i.e., new accounts and products that properly fit the need of the consumer or business customer.

Accept and accurately process all financial transactions.

Maintain responsibility for cash drawer and follows proper balancing procedures.

Review and maintain knowledge of products, fees and policies and stays current on offerings for product suggestions for consumer and small business lines of banking.

Open and process moderate to complex consumer and simple small business deposit accounts, providing appropriate solutions/services to businesses for managing their cash flow.

Listen to the customer's financial needs and cross-sell other bank services and refer customers to other departments as appropriate, to support the customer's financial growth.

Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.

Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.

Qualification

Requires a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent and customer service skills.

Previous banking and/or demonstrated sales experience.

Ability to maintain and balance a cash drawer.

Knowledge of bank operating procedures, practices and policies.

Consumer lending origination experience preferred.
