Solution Design Lead will report to Sr Manager Data Management. You will be single point of contact for portfolio specific data assets. You will be partnering with Business, Portfolio Leads, Enterprise architects to understand requirements, design technical solutions and building data products to meet the portfolio data needs. Your WorkIn this role, you will:- Provide technical expertise in design and development activities on concurrent and future complex data initiatives with multi-source systems and cloud data platforms.
- Design end to end robust, scalable, real time data ingestion pipelines and data platform architecture that will support the analytical and reporting needs of all business organizations.
- Provide direction and guidance in the implementation of data lake, data warehouses, marts, cubes, and universes to support data and analytics work product requirements.
- Conduct research and POCs (proofs of concept) with new technologies and industry standards in the data space for advancing the cloud data platform.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring to data engineers and developers in designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise applications requiring high performance and availability.
- Work collaboratively to drive adoption and enforcement of technical standards, design principles, best practices, guidelines, and policies.
- Be able to synthesize complex data/information and lead complex technical implementations. Partner with business portfolios to enable, architect, implement, and define the technical requirements, principles and models that guide Data solution decisions for On- premise, cloud and hybrid ecosystem.
- Ability to build strong relationships and drive alignment on difficult topics. Effectively work across team boundaries to establish data architecture and provide guidance to individual teams.
- Provide comprehensive analytical thinking to ensure time to market, cost impact and value are properly understood, estimated, and controlled across people, process, and technology.
- Define data product life cycle, priorities and road map by aligning with portfolio stakeholders and data and analytics leaders for portfolio specific data assets.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in designing solutions for large data warehouses with a good understanding of cluster and parallel architecture. Expert in one or more of NoSQL and database appliances and platforms (MongoDB, Cloudera, Redshift, Snowflake, Netezza, Synapse)
- 6+ years of demonstrated experience in data management, data integration, data warehouse, Master data Management, Data Privacy, bulk/batch/real-time load strategies, and analytics solutions and concepts.
- Hands on experience in one or more languages such as SQL, JavaScript, Python, a strong background in data structures, algorithms, performance, and scalability.
- Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment software tools in the cloud and on On-premise
- Strong understanding of business intelligence and analytical tools (like Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI, SAS), advanced analytical and data science.
- 10+ years of experience designing and building ELT/ETL solutions for both structured and unstructured data sets
- 2+ years' experience working in Healthcare industry is preferred.
- Azure or Snowflake Cloud Certification is a plus point.
