Your Role

The UX Strategy & Content team is responsible for overall UX strategy on user experiences as well as creating content, information architecture, and a compelling user experience vision across our lines of business . The UX Content Strategist, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager - UX Strategy & Content . In this role you will dive the creation of enterprise-level content strategy and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. You will use your expertise in content creation and enterprise collaboration to evaluate new solutions in key digital products that will help our users. The UX Content Strategist, Consultant will be a specialist/expert in seeing the bigger picture and vision for end-to-end solutions across Member, Provider, Prospect, and Employer/Broker digital experiences. They will work with the team in producing key strategic content plans, explorations, and evaluations . They will identify target audiences and objectives, analyze needs, and determine content strategies for current and future digital product designs.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Help present cohesive plan for UX content strategy with working teams and digital products
  • Make recommendations to content strategy team, product, and development to improve process
  • Takes an active role in defining and maintain principles, standards, and repeatable processes to guide and govern the creation, maintenance, management, and delivery of digital content on the websites
  • Produce a wide variety of onscreen copy including instructions, menus, labels, alerts, landing pages, emails, and site documentation
  • Research, evangelize, and follow best practices for content strategy and information architecture
  • Work closely with designers, strategists, and the product team, iterating and tracking down answers from subject matter experts and other partners
  • Conduct content audits and evaluate existing experiences
  • Create deliverables to support content requirements, customer journeys, task flows, and user scenarios
  • Build alignment and lead with quality

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires at least 7-10+ years of experience as a lead content strategist, UX writer, information architect, or content designer
  • A portfolio showcasing clear, concise UX writing and accurate, engaging informational content
  • Results Leadership: Positively leads team to deliver good results and create value.
  • Effective communicator who builds trust, embraces challenges and who is a lifelong learner.
  • Thought Leadership: Develops creative solutions, enjoys thinking outside the box, and strategic in approach.
  • Models collaborative teamwork contributing to team talent to meet future needs of digital
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Self-directed but enjoys collaborating and mentoring junior team members
  • Comfortable working in deadline driven environments and experienced in helping manage expectations for your deliverables
