  • Title of Position - Information Systems Technician II (Onsite role with no exceptions)
  • Position Description
    • The position reports to the Information Systems Manager of the Help Desk and Infrastructure unit in Public Health performing daily tasks supporting the entire Public Health staff with their computer related issues or requests and serving as a System Administrator for the assigned application.
    • Skillsets Required
    • Knowledge of Personal Computer (PC) technology and Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows 10)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
    • General knowledge of Networking technology and concepts for Microsoft Windows server environment
    • Knowledge of the process of imaging a laptop for deployment
    • Knowledge of responsibilities of a System Administrator
    • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
    • Possession of a valid California Driver's license
    • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
    • Ability to adapt to stress
    • Planned Job Duties
    • Serves a System Administrator for an application
    • May need to drive to PH remote sites to resolve issues.
    • Works with other staff to resolve computer related issues beyond his/her technical knowledge
    • Serves a back up for the other Help Desk staff when they are not available.
    • Fulfills any computer related requests from Departments or Programs
    • Images laptops, deploy them to staff and brief staff on how the laptops work.
    • Answers computer support calls, emails, and JIRA tickets troubleshoots and resolves them
