6-12Months to startSummary:Seeking an IT Business Analyst who will play a key role in the business and requirements definition, in understanding and documenting business requirements in the implementation, customization, maintenance, and support of a new Client Case Management System (CMS).
  • Working experience/knowledge in modern and relational databases such as (but not limited to) MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server
  • Working experience in data integration and exchanges between systems (for example using REST API).
  • Familiar with

    HIPAA, Health Information

    Exchange System, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Extensive on-hand experience in using MS Powerpoint, MS Vizio, or Lucid Charts.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Apply technical and business knowledge in the analysis of client requirements in project areas such as Application/Product development, product testing, and acceptance, new business operating models with innovative approaches to IT solutions support, and operational readiness assessment.
  • Questions and challenges the status quo and “the way we have always done it”.
  • Champion requirements elicitation by using proven techniques like interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis and develops appropriate documentation, design options, and proof of concepts that will help achieve the desired future state.
  • Evaluates new and existing application products and Software systems that could address client requirements, develop necessary documentation, and offer the best solutions in compliance with all local, state, federal, and Alameda County policies Draft & vet business requirements with business users to ensure applicability, feasibility, and alignment with a business case, ensuring best practices and guidelines
  • Work closely with vendor/consultants for different Software systems and business applications to align and meet business objectives and provides support on data exchange and migration efforts from legacy to the new Client Case Management System
  • Provide -post-implementation management and administration support for new business applications and systems.
  • Work with available resources to ensure that system enhancements and upgrades follow the appropriate IT guidelines and change request processes. Assist the project manager in creating project plans and other project management documents.
