• Designs develop, modifies, debugs, deploys, and evaluates complex java web applications.
• Upgrade the web applications to use the latest versions of the IBM WebSphere and Java.
• Implement SSO for the Java applications.
• Upgrade IBM WebSphere and Java to use the latest versions of the software
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong Java programming language experience.
• Strong experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere application server.
• SSO/Shibboleth Java implementation experience
• Knowledgeable in SQL and DDL in DB2 and SQLServer platforms. Experience Implementing stored procedures and effectively writing advanced queries.
• Ability to perform source code management and application build and deployment using tools like Git, Maven, and Shell scripts.
• AWS experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of how system management actions affect other systems, system users and dependent/related functions.
• Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Knowledge of the design, development and application of technology and systems to meet business needs.
• Experience in cross-platform solutions that utilize a variety of technologies and experience in identifying and documenting the best technical solution for each business requirement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and translate complex business rules into technical designs.
