Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) has been engaged to find a talented
Senior Developer with Java and Docker for a foremost Healthcare’s IT Group that is located close to public transit in Oakland, California.For this long-term, multi-year project, only Consultants who can attend an onsite orientation in Oakland, California, and work onsite once in-person operations resume. We are seeking a highly motivated professional, offering strong hand-on Java development experience, well-developed organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Profile:- BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields with 8+ years of professional experience in Infrastructure architecture and Cloud Solutions.
- Excellent design and programming skills with expertise in Java, Microservices and working knowledge of container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes (K8s).
- Experience in working with CI/CD framework and tools - TeamCity, Runbook automation tools, Artifactory.
- Expertise with SDLC branching, SCM, and code deployment systems (Git/GitHub, TeamCity, Runbook automation tools).
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence Administration with at least 1 year of experience working with Atlassian products.
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (hardware/software components), including servers, storage, a network, virtualization software, services and management tools.
- Knowledgeable in UNIX, Linux, UNIX or Linux shell scripting, Windows PowerShell scripting.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication.
- Multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize projects under pressure.
- Able to work equally well independently or as part of a team.
- Design, develop, implement and support web applications & other technology solutions.
- Work with Infrastructure and Support teams to achieve smooth handoff of responsibility running the production system.
- Adhere to development and security standards.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Engineering or related technical area
- Master’s degree preferred
