Role: Technical Product Owner/Data EngineerLocation: Remote/Oakland (onsite likely beginning of 2022 but will consider 100% remote candidates)Duration: 6+ months Job Description“Client” is looking for a technical Product Owner/Data Engineer gather requirements, build stories and initiate development of Palantir Foundry platform. Top Required Skills:Excellent communication and leadership skills4-5 years of Data Engineer Experience (primary skill)Ex: someone who has been a data engineer in a smaller organization or start up environment who was responsible for doing more requirements gathering work.OR someone who has a Data Engineering or Data Science degree (recent grad within last 2-3 years) who has professional experience working as a Product Owner.4-5 years of Product Owner Experience (secondary skill)Palantir Foundry experience (nice to have but not required) Responsibilities:Working with Project Managers and business owners to understands requests, build stories and start developing and building around that.This person won’t be assigned stories in sprint but may need to do discovery work which requires data engineering skillsExample: If requirement is to build a dashboard, this person may need to write some SQL queries to get data elements.He/She would not be building data pipelines but would need to understand how it works.
