We are unable to sponsor for this permanent full-time rolePosition is bonus and equity eligibleDynamic Company is currently seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to help bring technology in-house and expand their growing IT infrastructure. Candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the global information technology strategy, leading our global technology team in providing IT services across the internal and external customer base. . From an internal perspective, responsibilities include world-wide network infrastructure, data structure, data management (cloud based and on-prem), cybersecurity-, corporate application needs/roadmap, helpdesk functions, and managing the on-tool software needs of our customer facing hardware. Externally, this will entail managing the data generated from the proprietary technologies , enhancing the artificial intelligence platform with the data from technologies and ensuring the security of all data generated from the installed fleet of platforms The VP, IT is expected to lead the technology programs innovatively, strategically and architect a technology ecosystem that will enable business operations into the future.Candidate will be responsible for scaling an IT function that can support the continued global growth. The Information Technology organization is comprised of the Network Architecture, IT Operations, Help Desk, Applications Support, and IT Risk & Compliance functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively develop, communicate, and implement information technology strategic vision, and all aspects of technological development, growth, and maintenance that incorporates the voice of the customer
  • Identify emerging technologies, analyze, assimilate and integrate within the organization to enable achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Oversee operations that safeguard systems and data through proper access controls, internal permissions, monitoring of accesses and processes, and response.
  • Ensure IT compliance or enablement with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact and lead discussions with external audit.
  • Lead an operation by example, training, and direction, that delivers outstanding, unfailing customer service to external and internal customers.
  • Ensure that operational processes including application support and development, system administration, helpdesk, security, telecommunications, and audio-visual are run efficiently, delivering reliable and timely customer service.
  • Directs the preparation, review, and consolidation of IT business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Formulates IT policies, procedures, and performance management processes and measures.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with respective global, federal, state, and local requirements by staying informed, studying existing and new legislation, anticipating potential legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, completing necessary reporting, advising management on needed actions, and leading change to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures processes and systems are developed and maintained to provide the required information for decision makers and users.
  • Leads the development, communication, and execution of all applicable policies as they relate to information systems and compliance standards.
  • Implement technology to ensure that the organization's processes, systems, and devices are state of the art.

  • Ability to clearly articulate complex systems and system strategies with team members to build support and understanding of objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft application suite and services including Azure, Dynamics 365, Power BI, data warehouse and business intelligence applications.
  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate communications, objectives, and tasks between internal and external resources.
  • Highly proficient in contract negotiations, contract maintenance, and vendor management.
  • In depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), EU-GDPR).

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent business degree.
  • External audit or consulting experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in technology with a minimum of 5 years leading multiple teams.
