A bit about us:

We are an innovative, global remote team of engineers and entrepreneurs who have teamed up to create a new time series database that is focused on helping companies grow and scale their workload via the cloud. Our team is comprised of about 15 engineers and another 10 administrative people, across the US and UK. Currently, we are looking to grow our team and add in some more leadership, in order to help us focus the tasks of the 3 perspective departments- Application Development, Database, and the SRE Group.

Job Details

The ideal Software Managers will thrive in a small, collaborative team environment that is fast pace, with the main goal being to facilitate product requirements and breakdown those tasks across the team.Must be heavily focused on people management as this will be about 75% of your time and 25% will be technical/hands-on.Will work collaboratively with technical resources and upper management to determine scope and direction of products.

1. Software Engineering Manager- Application development

Must have knowledge of Rust
Must have experience with JavaScript and modern FE frameworks
Must be comfortable with full-stack (FE and BE application development)

2. Software Engineering Manager- Database

Must have knowledge of Rust
Must have strong experience with Back-end Development
Experience with Rust
General Front-End/JavaScript knowledge
Preferred ( not required) experience with time-series databases

3. Software Engineering Manager- SRE

Must have experience with Kubernetes
Experience with cloud technologies
Strong experience leading SRE/DevOps
Knowledge or desire to learn and work with Rust
