- Creates reports using Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services environment with an In-depth understanding of the report life cycle
- Design and develop Reports, Scorecards and Dashboards using Power BI and other data visualization tools for various organizational metrics and KPIs.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and manual data refreshes.
- Elicit business requirements from Subject Matter Experts using interviews, document analysis and requirements workshops.
- Use the gathered requirements to develop logic for reporting, analytics or IT application support.
- Ability to Understand data standards and identify data abnormalities. Instill data quality in all solutions delivered.
- Create / Modify existing tabular model, SSIS packages
- Maintain close alignment with all customers (internal, external)
- Ability to reconcile data between two more systems using SQL, Power BI and/or Excel
- Bachelors' degree or higher in Data Management, MIS and/or other data-related or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related business analyst or data/reporting analyst roles
- Knowledge of one ERP is required (JDE preferred)
- Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying BI Reports and Analytics Dashboards using Microsoft technologies including Power BI, SQL, Excel etc.
- Ability to support BI full lifecycle including analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, release and support/maintenance phases
- In-depth experience with MS analytics Stack (SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, Power Query, Power BI, DAX and SQL)
- Experience in Extraction, and Transformation and Loading (SSIS)
- In-depth experience with Associated Development Tools - Visual Studios Data Tools, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Data Tools, Microsoft TFS
- Superior documentation and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented
- Excellent critical-thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data retrieved from multiple sources
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
- Must be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision, able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
- Analytical, quantitative and logical with raw intellectual ability
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
