High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

6 months or more experience as a hemodialysis technician

License/Certification

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

Upon hire must possess a Californian State Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certificate. In addition t obtaining a formal certification from one of the commercially available certification programs approved by CMS within 6 months of hire:

Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (CCHT)

Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (CCHT-A)

Board of Nephrology Examiners for Nursing and Technology (BONENT-CHT)

National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO-CCNT)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:

Previous Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, or EMT, or military medic

Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese)
