Radiology Director - Full Time, VariedJob Title:Radiology Director - Full Time, VariedJob Type:Full-TimeLocation:Orange, CADepartment:RadiologyShift:VariesJob Description:Position Summary:The Radiology Director is responsible for the technical direction and management of the Radiology Departments according to the policies and procedures established by the Medical Directors and hospital Administration. The Radiology Director’s major responsibilities include: human resource management, organization of department workload, monitoring quality and appropriateness of treatments and fiscal accountability/productivity. The Radiology Director is responsible for ensuring that a process is in place to coordinate care, treatment and service among programs, service sites or departments and holding staff accountable for their respective responsibilities. He/she has the responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and care of the Radiology patient and management of the staff responsible for the patient in the following age groups: adolescent to geriatric. The Director of Radiology reports to the COO/CNO.Qualifications:A. Current CRTB. ARRT license preferredC. Bachelor's Degree or experience equivalent required.D. Curretn BLS required (within 30 days of employment)E. Minimum of two (2) years experience in management preferred, three to five (3-5) years experience in clinical area required.F. Possesses in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Radiology care and knowledfe in current trends in Radiology and health care delivery systems.G. Possess ability to plan and supervise work of others.H. Full Command (verval and written) of the English Language.I. Posseses the physical ability and perceptive acuity, (e.g., visual, hearing) to satisfactorily peform assigned duties.
