Organizes and leads groups and individual therapy sessions to meet the treatment needs of Behavioral health Services patients.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education :
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family counseling (MFT), Counseling (MA), Psychology (MA) or related field with clinical oversight to be provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT), or a licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
License/Certification:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Training:
MAB (Will be provided on an ongoing basis by the Hospital)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:
One or more year experience on an acute psychiatric service in a hospital setting. One or more years in a position that required participation on an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. Working knowledge of mental health law and how to access these service for patients.
