DescriptionAccountemps is currently looking for an efficient and success-driven Sr. Accountant to assist our client with their accounting department. This Senior Accountant will be performing all full-cycle accounting functions for the company, including balancing the books, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and working with outside accounting firms on audit and tax matters for their North American operations. You will join a group of professional, hard-working colleagues who put in an honest day?s work.Senior Accountant responsibilities will include:reconciliationsPerform all journal and month end closing entriesClose the G/L on a monthly basisGenerate all necessary financial reports for internal and external reporting processesAssist in financial forecasting, including generating financial reports for upper managementMiscellaneousPrepare all documentation to support internal controls requirementsWork with external auditors on all required auditsSuggest any necessary changes to improve the accounting processReport and remit all sales taxes for all North American operationsAccept other duties as neededTo apply you must first meet the requirements, then please send your resume to Gary.Gerhardt@Accountemps.com.
