Job Description:
3D Scanning Specialist:
We are seeking an experienced professional that is diligent, coachable and self-motivated. You require little supervision and have a passion for 3D technology and excellence. Your relationship to us would be as an independent contractor, but it is common for us to form long-term relationships with contractors and we hope to have the same with you.
Qualifications:
A 4-year college degree is required, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing 3D technologies such as:
Experience with measurement devices such as Faro CMM arms and 3D scanners (3D scanning experience is a big plus)
Experience with reverse-engineering and/or CAD software such as Geomagic, Polyworks and Solidworks
Industry experience with 3D design related manufacturing, fabrication, molding, etc.
Experience with quality, measurement and dimensional analysis
Experience with 3D printing
Experience with long range (LIDAR) scanning or drone 3D scanning
Candidates will have an opportunity to earn $30-$40/hr while utilizing a variety of 3D scanning technologies and experiencing interesting and unusual situations that our customers present as we help them solve problems and achieve their goals. The Leadership Team
Arrival 3D is managed by a husband-wife team, Lanny and Bahvahnie Smith. Lanny is an electrical engineer and Bahvahnie is a mechanical engineer. Both have 20 years of industry experience and they have a baby girl.
