Description:
Produce commercial, industrial, and high-rise residential building Low Voltage System Installation drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, and layouts using manual drawing techniques and PC based CAD system (AutoCAD).
Responsibilities:
Assemble operation and maintenance manuals, and systems documentation for system owners. Prepare systems drawings per specifications and plans supplied including point to point wiring diagrams, riser diagrams and floor plans.
Assist project management, engineering staff with technical projects.
Perform other related document and drawing tasks as assigned.
Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the Engineering Team.
Required Knowledge and Skills, Education and Experience:
Associate's or Technical Degree in Drafting/CAD
2 years Drafting/ CAD experience (can include schooling)
Understanding in the operations of the latest version of AUTOCAD
Ability to operate the CAD system and use all features such as layering techniques, external references, and attributes
Proficient with personal computer and knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
Familiar with the operation of word processing and spreadsheet programs
Able to work with building plans including architectural, electrical, mechanical, and site plans
