Our client in is seeking a full time Senior Android Developer. They are working on a cutting edge healthcare applications with at home tracking. This is working on a new project, customizing their mobile apps for new clients. This will be one of their first Android Developers, so they need someone very strong in both Android and Kotlin. They are a smaller team with a lot of growth opportunity. They offer competitive base salaries, stock, great benefits, etc.
This will be 100% remote, but eventually at least 1 day per week at their office in North County, San Diego.Responsibilities/Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience developing Android mobile apps
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent work experience
- Development experience with Kotlin and Java
- Experience working with latest App Bundles and Android tools
- Experience integrating 3rd party APIs
- A thorough understanding of software development agile processes and tools
- Design and build new features and improvements Android applications
- Experience publishing apps to the Play Store- at least 1 app
- Experience developing a mobile SDK
- Ideal candidate has proficiency developing applications for both Android and iOS
- Experience doing test driven development and unit testing for mobile apps
- Build tools (Jenkins, Gradle, etc.)
- Experience with bluetooth integrations
