Filomena's Italian Kitchen is excited to announce the expansion of our new Italian Market in Costa Mesa. We are setting out to find a unique person to help carry out our traditions while helping charge into tomorrow! We are a high volume, high quality restaurant and have opened our Italian Market adjacent to the restaurant and we are looking for someone to help keep us performing at the highest level.
We are looking for a servant oriented leader that will work tirelessly to ensure that every interaction with our guests, employees and community is done with care and integrity. We strive for Filomena's to be a home away from home for its employees and clients alike.
We are searching for a like-minded individual to help us in our mission to provide a safe, fun and social environment where our most important relationships can be enjoyed at our work place. Our new Deli Chef/Manager is a person that has the integrity to always do what is right even when it is not expected and especially when it may be hard.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience focused either in a restaurant or large scale food service establishment or a culinary focused retail food shop. Must have excellent communication skills, organizational skills and an attention to detail and customer service.
Must be available to work all shifts, and have a flexible schedule.
Applicants must have a knowledge of food and be ready and willing to learn about new products in a fast paced environment. The applicant must be able to multi-task constantly & efficiently. Knowledge of Italian meats, cheeses, foods and ingredients a PLUS!
Experience with slicers, cold cut/cheese slicing, sandwich making, catering platters, phone order processing and one to one customer interaction required.
Applicant must be able to stand on their feet for 8-12 hours at a time and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
