The ideal Line Cook is a self starter, motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. Must be able to follow set recipes and take direction from the Executive Chef.
This job is hard and the hours are long. Experience is nice but we will hire for desire if you demonstrate you can lead our team to new heights. This is not your typical restaurant; average is the enemy here, so only those who wish to lead well and do the fun parts along with tough parts need apply. We are seeking genuine professionals that are hard working and looking for long-term culinary careers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by preparing food items consistently and adhering to all recipe standards
- Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines
- Complete kitchen tasks such as setup, food preparation, line work, cleanup and breakdown
Required Skills
- Must be ServSafe Certified
- Must enjoy and be able work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Have great organizational skills
- Be proactive, punctual & reliable
