About Us

Check N’ Play is a modern, creative play café for families with kids 18 months–6 years. We’re not a daycare—we’re a fun, enriching space where kids explore and caregivers relax. As we grow, we’re building a warm, energetic launch team.

What You’ll Do

Support the Play Floor: engage kids & caregivers, ensure safe, meaningful play

Assist with curriculum: art, sensory activities, storytime, music

Manage guest check-in, retail transactions & membership recommendations

Help in the café: prep drinks/snacks, run register, maintain a clean space (tips available)

Support parties & events: setup, hosting, cleanup

Earn spot bonuses for driving memberships, classes, and event bookings

What You Bring

CPR certification (required)

Experience with children (preschool, camps, afterschool, etc.)

High energy, physically active, excellent communication

Comfort working across play, café, retail & events

Food Handler’s Card if assigned to café (or willingness to obtain)

Able to lift/carry 50 lbs

Bonus Skills

Early childhood education, curriculum development, hospitality/café experience, bilingual skills.

About Us

Our café is the heart of Check N’ Play—serving specialty coffee, signature drinks, and curated snacks in a warm, family-friendly environment. This is a craft-driven barista role in a high-energy, hospitality-focused setting.

What You’ll Do

Make high-quality espresso drinks, teas & seasonal specials

Deliver an exceptional, welcoming guest experience

Maintain a clean, well-organized café & uphold drink quality standards

Guide customers through the menu & offer recommendations

Assist with register, food prep, stocking & opening/closing

Support evolving beverage programs (eventually beer & wine service)

What You Bring

1+ year specialty coffee or craft beverage experience

Ability to steam milk, dial in espresso & pour basic latte art

Strong hospitality & communication skills

Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; team-oriented

Willingness to cross-train

Food Handler’s Card (or willingness to obtain)

Experience with La Marzocco Linea PB

Able to lift/carry 50 lbs

Bonus Skills

Third-wave coffee methods, knowledge of alternative milks/specialty ingredients, hospitality/bar experience, RBS certification.
