We are seeking a skilled, dedicated and responsible Dental Assistant with minimum 3 years experience and bilingual in Spanish to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support our dentists and team in delivering high-quality dental services. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with patient exams, procedures, and treatment plans
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the process
- Maintain accurate and organized medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans
- Utilize dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow strict infection control procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients
- Perform general dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry procedures, including assisting with pediatric patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental systems and technologies
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive, professional attitude and be a team player
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and managing patient scheduling
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or pediatric dentistry setting
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology
- Experience with Dentrix dental management system, medical imaging procedures, including vital signs X-rays and CT's
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures and patient care
- Proven experience in maintaining accurate and organized medical records
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control and patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dental treatments: endodontic, Implants and general dentistry
Skills:
- Assisting with patient exams and procedures
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Experience with pediatric dentistry and patient care
- Proficiency with Dentrix

- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Current certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and X-ray license
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical imaging techniques
