We are an independent retail pharmacy located in Anaheim currently seeking an experienced bilingual Spanish and English speaking pharmacy technician, for a part-time position with potential to develop into a full-time position. Some desired qualities we are looking for in a prospective employee include: team player, self-starter, pays attention to detail, punctual, professional, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
-Accurate data entry including patient and drug information
-Preparing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist to be dispensed to patients
-Customer service tasks including answering phone calls, ringing up customers, and handling patient inquiries that do not require special attention of the pharmacist
-Assist the pharmacist in managing RX and OTC inventory
-Filling out prior-authorizations forms for Medi-cal, Cal-Optima, etc.
-Help maintain the organization and work-flow of the pharmacy
We are looking for experienced pharmacy technicians only, qualifications include:
-18 years of age or older
-Current CA board of pharmacy technician license
-Bilingual, Spanish speaking
-Familiar with brand and generic drugs
-Experience with digitalrx pharmacy software a plus
Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Benefit packages available including health insurance and paid holidays.
