Job description:
A food production line worker is responsible for the preparation, assembly, and packaging of food products in a factory or plant setting. They work as part of a team to ensure that production goals are met while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating and monitoring machinery used in the food production process.
Assembling food products on a conveyor belt or production line.
Inspecting products for quality and consistency.
Packaging and labeling finished goods.
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
Following all food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols.
Reporting any equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to a supervisor.
Maintaining a clean and organized work station.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various temperatures.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
