Sports Afield is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our small team here in Huntington Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions, and familiarity with warehouse management.
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eight hours per week guaranteed; occasional extra hours as needed.
Pay: $20.00/hour.
Duties
Packing rare, antique hunting-related books
Operating USPS and UPS packing scale
Light computer work associated with shipping process
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely deliveries.
Organizing racks within the warehouse; some heavy lifting required
Maintaining warehouse supplies using stand-up forklift and/or 9-Step rolling safety ladder with large top step
Other Requirements
U.S. Resident
A clean driving record
English fluency, both speaking as well as reading/writing
Minimum of U.S. high school diploma
