Job Description:
Full-time Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Familiar with court rules, deadlines and filing procedures; and personal injury process
Notice and Schedule depositions, mediations, conferences and hearings
Maintain attorney and firm calendars
Client communication
Draft correspondence, and form pleadings and discovery
Coordinate medical appointments with clients and medical offices
Obtain medical records/bills, traffic collision reports etc.
Initiate insurance claims process
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in Personal Injury including litigation
Excellent writing and professional communication skills in English
Strong computer skills
Outstanding attention to detail and high level of organization and multitasking
Ability to work both independently and as a team
Bi-lingual (verbal) in Spanish or another language is a plus
College degree is a plus
Responsible and self-motivated
