We are a family owned furniture business with 19 years of expertise in interior design and looking for the perfect person to join our small, but awesome team! Although we are a public showroom, we are project heavy which may lead to things going awry! We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, hardworking, detail-oriented, self-motivated team player; someone who can adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment with a good attitude, as well as someone who can also be proactive and diligent when projects and foot traffic are light. Our customers come first, so someone who is also comfortable with engaging and building our clientele would be a perfect fit!
As we are a small team, we would prefer someone who is mindful and responsible in their day to day lives during this pandemic.
MUST HAVE/BE ABLE TO:
Interest in Interior Design
At least 3 years of customer service
Strong integrity
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Computer proficiency (Microsoft, Excel)
Clerical entry skills strongly preferred
Multi-task in high stress environment
Stand and pace for long hours
Lift heavy objects on occasion
Do menial tasks with a positive attitude
Cooperate!
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Engage and assist customers on floor
Ringing up on register
Answering the phone
Assisting designers
Creating purchase orders on Quickbooks
Tagging merchandise
Upkeeping the showroom
There is so much room to grow here if you do have an interest in Interior Design or just want be in a creative field!
