Job Title: Solar Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a Residential Solar Project Coordinator who is ready to deepen their experience in the solar industry. Primary responsibilities will be with the pre- and post-construction process for residential solar installations across Southern California. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at communication, and understands what it takes to deliver a smooth, high-quality solar experience to homeowners.

Growth opportunities to advance to full Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing residential solar projects from contract signing through permission to operate (PTO).

Coordinate across design, permitting, installation, and inspection teams to ensure timely project completion.

Communicate with homeowners, utility companies, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Track project milestones, documentation, and deliverables using CRM or project management software.

Review project plans and permits to ensure accuracy and compliance with local codes and utility requirements.

Oversee post-installation tasks including final inspections, interconnection, and customer handoff.

Proactively identify and resolve project bottlenecks or delays.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in residential solar project coordination, or operations preferred.

Experience working with AHJs and building departments in Southern California.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in project tracking tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, or similar).

Familiarity with Enphase, Tesla Energy products, and main panel upgrade coordination is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
