SUMMARY
- Re-flashing firmware of network switches, cell data devices and camera
- Naming and linking the enclosure (network switch and cellular data device) and camera
- minimal wire to wire soldering
- Wheel Refurbishments (pulling data off of wheels, cleaning, retreading, re-flash firmware)
- multi-meter use for troubleshooting
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Basic understanding of network routers and switches
Read, interpret and follow technical engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to perform final product configuration
Utilize computer to perform setup operations and verifications of final product
Perform soldering in a subassembly operation
Maintain inventory of product in configuration area
Perform quality work checks to assure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks and proactively seeking new tasks to advance the teams goals.
Able to work in lean, production line environment completing tasks on time.
Communicates effectively with others and can function and get along in a team environment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years mechanical or computer assembly experience may be required
Intermediate computer navigation and utilization skills
Must be able to use a digital multi-meter
Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
Technical problem-solving skills
Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required
