The Formulation and Biologicals Technician is a team player who can assist in all function of production. This includes but is not limited to: production preparation, assisting with production, keeping a clean lab and packaging finished product. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet production deadlines is a must.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manages production supplies, raw materials and equipment
Maintains all laboratory instrumentation and ensures proper working condition
Documents manufacturing records and usage logs for production
Prepares raw material for production
Maintains aseptic techniques during production to ensure sterility of the products
Operates the autoclave and other warehouse equipment
Applies labels to finished products
Keeps production area clean and organized daily
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
Proficient in MS Office Programs
Ability to lift 50 lbs and/or move heavy products
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures
Ability to operate pH meter, pallet jack and other warehouse equipments
Abide by all company safety standards
Team player who has an excellent communication skills
Understanding of aseptic techniques in the laboratory
Strong organizational skills, methodical and attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast paced, multitasking environment
