This role will support our manufacturing operation in a laboratory settings. This is an opportunity to join an exciting, fast paced start up environment and be part of group doing novel work. You must be comfortable with change, multitasking, able to communicate effectively, have experience in a laboratory environment and be willing to learn and take on new tasks quickly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintaining clean Laboratory environments, which will include general housekeeping
Inventory and stocking of laboratory supplies
Receiving of goods and materials for the lab as well as general corporate
Reagent manufacturing, sterile product and chemical handling and aliquoting
Prepare vessels and reagents for instrument runs, sterilization and filling
General laboratory instrument calibration and routine maintenance
Other laboratory operational and general maintenance duties as assigned
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:
AA degree in Biology, Chemistry or related discipline desired may consider HS graduate or equivalent
2 + years working in a laboratory. Preference given to those whose experience is in a research or academic setting.
Fill-finish experience preferred
cGMP manufacturing experience a strong plus
Familiarity and hands on experience with DNA extraction highly desired
Must be able to demonstrate math proficiencies in algebra and basic calculations
Working knowledge of stoichiometry is highly desired
Familiar with basic Excel and Word skills along with documentation experience highly desired
