You are
A dynamic, high energy leader who can motivate a team to be their best. You are a knowledgeable and reliable operations manager. You inspire, not just in your skill, but in your person. You lead by doing. Youre a little weird and totally down with getting weird because lifes too short not to have some fun.
Job Responsibilities:
-Recruit, interview, select, and train people
-Execute marketing activities with the team
-Develop and manage stylists in all areas, including technical skills
-Cut and color mens and womens hair
-Manage shop operations
-Motivate the team to meet individual and shop goals
Skills/Experience Required:
-1-2 years of experience in salon management
-Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
-Professional communication skills, both verbally and written
-High-energy, proven ability to work with a broad diversity of people and work groups
-Initiative to self-start and maintain high standards of personal performance and integrity
-5-7 years experience as a licensed hair technician with the ability to teach technical skills to staff
-Current cosmetology (and/or barber) license for the State of California
