The Event / Live Streaming Production Technician is the go-to person on-site for live streaming of fitness videos. This role involves ensuring everything is ready to go prior to shooting. They set and test the streaming system ahead of each shoot and assist with tweaks to sound and lighting, and make sure all the cords are in the right place and out of the way.
Highly experienced in videography and streaming in particular, this role is responsible for ensuring the live streaming runs smoothly. These productions involve more than just hitting play and walking away. The Tech ensures everything is ready to go prior to filming and stays on-site throughout the shoot to make sure everything stays in position and step in when needed.
We are a fitness equipment manufacturer that does live streaming of fitness classes 3-5 time per week. We shoot in a large studio inside of the manufacturing warehouse in Santa Ana.

Responsibilities:
Setup and test the live streaming system
Troubleshooting any issues that arise with the streaming computer, connectivity, cameras, sound, lights and connectivity
Recording & streaming the classes
Compressing and uploading the video for on-demand after-the-fact
The “Must have's”:
Live streaming experience of some kind. (We will look at a wide range of experience, from an experienced intern to expert.)
Technical aptitude
“Type-A” personality who knows the time pressure of everything tested and perfect before others arrive
Calm under pressure
Consistent, reliable, and a good communicator on schedule and tasks
Availability for our schedule, which is:
o Tuesday 8am-Noon
o Wednesday 8am-Noon
o Friday 10am-1pm

Experience with DMX lighting panel
