The SAP Analyst – FI/CO II role is to create and implement solutions to meet thebusiness requirements utilizing SAP Finance (FI) and SAP Costing (CO). This includesgathering and analyzing business requirements; design, configure, develop specificationsand manage development through testing implementation according to SAP bestpractices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other dutiesmay be assigned. Analyzes, designs, and develops system functional specifications consulting withusers to determine hardware, software, and system functional requirements. Implements best solutions according to Finance (FI) and Costing (CO) solutionsbased on business requirements, leveraging standard capabilities where possible. Designs, develops, documents, creates, and carries out system configurationmodifications. Coordinates module and system integration testing based on user or system designspecifications. Uses discretion and independent judgment to proactively look for areas ofimprovement in system related business processes, using new technologies that canimprove efficiency and enhance competitive advantage. Accurately estimates workload. Utilizes SAP Support portal and SDN network in support of SAP implementation. Lead and implement continuous improvement processes. Work independently, or as a member of a team. Communicates effectively both horizontally with peers and customers, and verticallywith management. Manages multiple priorities with minimal supervision from the manager. Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issueimpacting workflow, quality, etc. Additionally, there are high value items thatrequire proper care and protection. 0-5% travel required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully the candidate must be able to perform each essentialduty adequately. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individualswith disabilities to perform the essential functions.Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP FI and/or SAP CO modules. Strong understanding of SAP business processes related to Accounts Receivable,Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. Strong Knowledge of Controlling functions: COPA, PCA, CCA, Product Costings,Material Ledger, Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Profit Centers, Activity Types, andAllocations. Experience with bank payment files (ACH, Wire, and Positive Pay). Understanding of how SAP FI module interfaces with other SAP Modules (i.e. Salesand Distributions (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning(PP)). Ability to lead technical teams or lead projects. Ability to debug SAP Code, user-exits and enhancements. Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence torules, procedures and policies.Desired Qualifications Experience with SAP foreign trade or VAT tax. Experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW). Experience with SAP Workflow. SAP ABAP experience.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA Computer Science/Information Systems or Financefrom a four-year college or university is required, plus an additional 7+ years relatedexperience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLSMust have the ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Must have theability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. It isimperative to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups ofmanagers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSMust have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, usingwhole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have the ability to apply conceptssuch as, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITYMust have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw validconclusions.
