Innkeeper-
The prestigious Grand Idyllwild Lodge is currently seeking an individual or couple to work as a full time innkeeper who will reside on the property. The Grand Idyllwild Lodge caters to a well traveled sophisticated clientele; as such, the ideal candidate will have impeccable manners, speak eloquently, a friendly helpful attitude, meticulous in keeping the inn spotless, and an understanding that The Grand is so special because details are not overlooked.
As the Innkeeper some general responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following-
Preparing, displaying and cleaning the daily Continental Breakfast
Serving, cleaning, and possibly preparing the Gourmet Breakfast on Weekends & Holidays
Greeting guests upon arrival and departure
Tidying of all outdoor and common areas, this is done throughout the day
Assisting contracted cleaning crew by stripping the linens
Tidying up guest rooms for those staying multiple days
This position requires someone who is very flexible and able to take on new duties as they arise.
It is imperative that the Innkeeper be in excellent physical condition as it requires lifting 30+ pounds and going up and down stairs throughout the day among other physical endeavors
Ensuring that all guest rooms meet our 5 star quality rating before they check in by inspecting them beforehand
Ideally if a couple, 1 person would be handy to do maintenance, light tech and have grounds keeping skills
