We are looking for a talented, responsible individual who enjoys making delicious food. This person should understand how to prep, have good knife skills and be able to follow recipes. Should be available during our regular business hours Monday through Sunday 6:00AM to as late as 9:00PM, with additional times for special events and banquets. It is preferred that you call or email me to set up a time that I may meet with you. The Golf Club at Terra Lago has Breakfast & Lunch Dining, Happy Hour and Special Events. We hope that all staff understand that they are an integral part of each guests positive experience.
-Prepare sauces, dips and herb seasoned items
-Perform meal-prep activities before guest arrive (chopping vegetables, cutting meat & fish, and washing fruits)
-Store ingredients to keep fresh and minimize food waste
-Insure proper temperature standards are met
-Prepare salads & waffles to order.
-Assist and support kitchen line with product.
-Sterilize kitchen equipment at the end of shift
-Monitor stock and place orders as needed
-Maintain clean and operational station
Candidates must have:
-Experience a minimum of 1 year working as a pantry cook or line prep
-Ability to bake, and follow recipes
-Works well alone, and is self-directed, but able to follow instruction
-Quick and able to multi-task
-Able to work in similar positions in kitchen if needed
-Strong work ethic
-Should speak English & Spanish a plus
-Must have experience
-Provide Food Handler's Certificate
