An assistant is needed to help an elderly man with limited mobility. Duties include: serving food twice a day (breakfast and dinner) 5 to 6 days a week, house cleaning, including clean-up of dishes used for meals, laundry, driving the disabled man to medical appointments, and shopping. Lifting the patient is not required, but lifting a wheelchair in and out of an SUV is required. The only cooking thats required is microwaving to cook frozen meals. The estimated average work time is 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in late afternoon or early evening (approximately 20 hours per week). You should be available any day of the week, including weekends. Pay is $15/hr. Job duration is expected to be about 2 months. Location is off Ramon near the airport.
Experience is desirable but not essential. This could be a great part-time job for a high school student or a retired person with time on their hands. Applicants for only the morning hours or only the late afternoon hours will be considered.
Applicant must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license. Looking for an assistant who is punctual, reliable, pleasant and strong enough to do housecleaning and carry heavy groceries.
