Job Opening: Resident Advisor/Tech (swing shift)
Location: Palm Desert, CA
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday, 3:00PM-11:30PM
Description: An experienced Resident Advisor/Tech is needed for a high end 18 bed mental health, dual diagnosis facility for adults.
Duties:
1. Assist with admissions process, conducts check-in of new clients.
2. Maintain proper documentation of visual contact with each client every 30 minutes.
3. Observe and monitor client's behavior.
4. Provide 1:1 supervision of at-risk clients per direction from Supervisor.
5. Supervise self-administration of client medications.
6. Write shift reports using EMR.
7. Ensure clients check items in/out for designated hours.
8. Answer phones, take messages, keep office area clean and neat.
9. Complete Temp Logs on refrigerators, food labeling, and discard items/restock supplies.
10. Conduct UA drug screen collection when directed.
Requirements:
1. Must have 1 year experience working in a substance abuse/detox and mental health center.
2. Must have 1 year experience in sobriety if in recovery.
3. Registered with a certifying agency such as CCAP; 1st Aid & CPR, TB test.
4. Familiar with EMR Charting.
5. Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
​Compensation: $17-$22 per hour, Pay dependent on certification level and experience plus benefits.
