Job responsibilities include:
Exercise and Support of Dogs:
Rigorous walks around ranch and time in play yard engaging and interacting with dogs
Providing love, 1:1 time and individual attention to each dog working on basic training such as recall, sit, stay, and leash etiquette
Feeding dogs, ensure all water bowls are working correctly and clean
Administer medication
Brush and bathe dogs
Take dogs to vet appointments
Pick up food and supplies
Do laundry for dogs
Deep clean kennels, play yards and all areas dogs use daily
Maintain kennels to prevent injury to both dogs and people
Clean, maintain and keep organized all areas around kennels, inside and outside of barn and ranch property
Clean, organize and maintain garage and tack room
This is a full-time, permanent, live on premises (after probationary period) position. Room and utilities provided as part of compensation.
This position is in a desert environment that involves working outdoors.
Previous experience working with large dogs or other large animals is preferred.

Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Pass a background check
