Life at It’s Just Lunch

There are contests with great prizes too, for those who like a little friendly competition. Your work-life balance is really important, so our hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm – no late nights, travel or weekends required. Perhaps the best benefit of working at It’s Just Lunch is the pay. After the training period there is a competitive base of $50,000 a year along with an uncapped commission structure. We like to celebrate milestones at IJL so at your 6 month anniversary you receive a $5,000 bonus and you will receive another $5,000 bonus at your year anniversary! That is right, $10,000 in anniversary bonus’ A successful first year Dating Specialist earns an average of $70,000 per year.
Opportunity Overview
Your main responsibility will be to sell It’s Just Lunch memberships to busy singles over the phone. You’ll use a consultative sales approach to build rapport and discuss the potential client’s needs, then explain how our dating membership will benefit them. You’ll also get to talk to them about potential matches and then, select matches for your new client based on your interview with them. We have a comprehensive training program that will cover all of this and can transform you into an It’s Just Lunch Dating Specialist!
Ideal Candidate
To be an It’s Just Lunch Rockstar, you need to be someone who is passionate about helping others find their special someone, and is enthusiastic about sharing that passion with others. In addition, you need to be a sales professional with at least two years of phone sales experience and have experience handling a high volume of outbound calls per day. You shouldn’t be one to shy away from objections and should excel at closing.

Location
The Palm Desert office is located on Country Club Drive just east of Portola. It is a beautiful office with large cubicles that are more like mini offices. There’s a water feature and seating outside for picnic lunches that encourage you to take in the beauty of the desert. It’s a secure building with ample parking and conveniently located within minutes of several main desert thoroughfares and I-10.
