Our client is looking for a UC Engineer to be responsible for operational oversight of all Cisco Unified Communications, Unity, Jabber/WebEx teams, Expressway, and Collaboration solutions in a multi-cluster campus environment. This includes all technologies and services required for the enablement of secure and non-secure voice, video, and text messaging communications, video conferencing and web collaboration services.

The position will also guide continuous improvements to IT processes by working internally with Helpdesk and Network Operations teams, and externally with Cisco and its partners.

Client facing / customer service / solid communication skills a MUST Must have hands on experience with CUCM, Unity, etc. Must have installed and upgraded all UC components in recently or in the past. Solid understanding of SIP call flows, security (ITL/CTL/CAPF), and troubleshooting.

Essential Functions Gather functional/business requirements and definitions for IT Unified Communications service improvements Provide project status on a regular basis as project team requires. Submit Project Charters for PMO approval. Perform day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Create technical designs and specifications Monitor and report on IT Unified Communications, Unity, Jabber/WebEx teams, Expressway and Collaboration services metrics Tier 3 end user support for all Unified Communications (collaborative applications, mobile devices, video, and voice) Perform front line troubleshooting Integrate and design all A/V for existing and future conference rooms, offices, and locations Work with remote users (internal and external) to successfully connect with existing video conferencing equipment Work with Cisco Technical Support, dedicated Account team and preferred VARs Implement Unified Communications Applications into Enterprise solutions Perform Unified Communications software and hardware upgrades Document processes and procedures End User Support/Training/Relations Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through email Installation for video conferencing and A/V equipment Manage high profile meetings and events Clearly translate and communicate information and concepts surrounding IT Unified Communications services between and across different groups and levels within and outside of the organization

Minimum Requirements Degree in related discipline or relevant technical certifications. A combination of education and experience will be considered A combination of certifications and relevant experience (CCIE Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, CCDA, CCDP, or MCSE) Knowledge of TCP/IP, VoIP and WAN networks Be available for limited travel and 24/7 coverage Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5 to 10 years Telecommunications/VoIP experience Telecommunications design, implementation, project management Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM, CallManager) Unity, Jabber/WebEx teams, Expressway & CUCM IM&P installation, system configuration and troubleshooting MUST have recent experience as Administrator for CUCM version 9.1 or greater Cisco TelePresence video conferencing design, implementation, project management Cisco Unity Connection installation, system configuration and troubleshooting for Unified Messaging deployments Cisco WebEx Meeting Center administration Cisco Telepresence Server, Telepresence Management System (TMS), Conductor installation, system configuration and troubleshooting Experience deploying Cisco Jabber, 7800/8800 Series IP Phones and SX Series video endpoints Working knowledge of Cisco integrations with CUCM and WebEx CMR/OBTP Working knowledge of VMware as relates to Cisco Collaboration applications Cisco VCS/Expressway installation, system configuration and troubleshooting for MRA, B2B & B2C deployments Deployment of Cisco IOS voice features including DSP Resources, CUBE, SIP/H.323/MGoogle Cloud Platform/SCCP and SRST Experience working with Service ProvidersSome Networking experience is not required but would be preferred (Routers, Switches, Wireless End Points
